  • Macbeth, Act 4, Scene 1
a production by miss diodati's fourth grade class

    • Macbeth is a story about a man who can't be satisfied with what has been given to him, and he, along with his wife, harms many people to get what he wants. Fulton Sheen said that, "Any great sinner is capable of being a saint, and any saint is capable of being a great sinner." This is seen through Macbeth, who could have served his country to the best of his ability, but instead became a traitor, turning away from God just for the temporary position of king.

In this scene, you will see Macbeth seek out answers from three witches, who also once could have had a great capacity for good. Shakespeare shows us that we are free to make our choices, for God has given us free will. It is important to note that if we acknowledge our mistakes and see reconciliation with God, He will never turn us away.
