Born and raised in Easton, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Anne Houston brings a lifetime of experience in Catholic and non-profit fundraising to SFCCA. Most recently the Director of Fundraising at the St. Francis Retreat House in Easton, Mrs. Houston is an accomplished fundraiser who has chaired several highly successful campaigns for a variety of local charities, including St. Luke’s Hospital, Moravian Academy, Northampton County Prison’s Journey Home, and the Atlantic Contemporary Ballet. With an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Cedar Crest College, and a master’s degree in Education from Lehigh University, Mrs. Houston is well-versed in education and curriculum matters, and is also a former entrepreneur, having managed a highly successful retail store in Ocean City, New Jersey. Mrs. Houston’s mission is to assist SFCCA’s Headmaster, Board of Directors, and the newly formed Parent’s Auxiliary in expanding the effectiveness of the Academy’s several fundraising initiatives, including the yearly Gala, the new St. Francis Day Walkathon, the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, foundation proposals and planned giving, and any other new projects stemming from the activities of the Parent’s Auxiliary. SFCCA is thrilled to be able to benefit from Mrs. Houston’s lifelong dedication to Christian charitable causes.
