Mrs. Frank is a life-long parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament. She, her husband of 50 years, Leo, and both of their sons are graduates of Most Blessed Sacrament School. She is a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. She was a stay at home mom for many years and decided to go back to school when her sons were in high school. She earned her B.S. in Education and later her Masters in Education at Kutztown University. LuAnne was a 2nd grade teacher for twenty years at St. Thomas More School, Allentown before retiring in June 2021. She was excited to learn that St. Francis was once again opening its doors to students and wanted to become involved in some way.
Reading has always been very important to her, and she credits her beloved first grade teacher, Sister Crispin, for instilling that love of reading. "Watching my own students over the years develop an enjoyment of reading has been very fulfilling for me." LuAnne's favorite book is Gift From The Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Her favorite saint is St. Therése, who once said ,"Remember nothing is small in the eyes of God, do all that you do with love." LuAnne firmly believes in Phillippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Besides reading, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her five grandchildren.
